In which I am worrying
Sep. 15th, 2008 01:20 pmI have spent this weekend worried. It all started on Friday when I came across the BBC news article on Palin and the Bush doctrine (BBC). It seems from the interview that Palin wholeheartedly supports the preemptive strike doctrine. The course of my worry lies this way: what if McCain/Palin are elected? What if they find "sufficient intelligence" (present situation considered) that Russia intends to attack USA (as I have seen the president of Georgia to suggest in one of his interviews). ** shudder **
I wonder what is Obama's thinking on pre-emptive strike ?
I am still very ignorant in political matters - when will the new president start his service? Will this be before of after the New Year (we intend to visit Russia over Christmas holidays)? I am over-eggagerating things , right?
Some more cheery news (BBC) on USA troops crossing the borders of Pakistan and killing some women and children in the process
