Virginia/UK citizenship/Life in the UK test

I am feeling very broken-hearted about the recent event in Virginia. Everything seems to resemble the days and weeks just after Beslan tragedy... My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in USA and particular with everyone who lives near by!!!

I have "Life in the UK" test booked next Monday, 23 of April. This is a part of "naturalization" process: everyone who wants to apply for citizenship in the United Kingdom and to pass "Life in UK" test. I am reading the test book at the moment, but hopefully it will be over soon ..I am not finding the book difficult, but you never know what the test will be like and I'd rather pass. :D

I am quite pleased with the fact that in UK you don't have to forfeit your "old" citizenship and can have a dual one. I know this is not the same in some other countries which for me seems to be quite unfair. I don't want to forfeit my Russian citizenship as it is a part of my identity but it could be nice to have UK passport which will allow travel around the World easier. (I confess that traveling around the World seems to be particular appealing after discovering LJ :D)
