"My Lovely Sam-Soon".
EEEEEEEEE! I am very very happy, though hardly slept since yesterday because I spent the whole night watching new Korean drama "My Lovely Sam-Soon". I love love love it, and I am afraid because I am deadly tired my power of coherent speech is impaired, but I still want to tell you it all:
If you haven't watched yet "My Lovely Sam-Soon", do it NOW!!!
syliasyliasylia, this is totally how you like it: a bit of comedy, a bit of angst and a bit of everything (CAKES!!!!!CHOCOLATES!!!), but plus to it:
- Short synopsis ** Pastry chef Kim Sam-soon starts working in the exquisite restaurant after she was abandoned by her lover. The owner of the restraurant, glacier-like Hyun Jin-heon asks her to enter into the "dating contract" with him **
- I am truly in love with the main heroine, Kim Sam-soon. I agree with
dangermousie and I find female characters in Korean dramas very lobeable. But between them all, Korean, Taiwanese and Japanese, Kim Sam-soon is the best. As soon as I saw her in the first scene she became almost like a real friend to me. You know, sometimes you meet a person who you find easy to talk to, comfortable to be with and fantastic company from the moment one? I am just so happy to watch Sam Soon in whatever she is doing and enjoy the warmth. I like the fact that she is indeed not pretty in conventional sense!!! It always doesn't feel right for me when on-screen we are given some female character who is supposed to be "plain" but who in reality is some gorgeous actress of Drew Barrymore type and is only made to be "plain" by the pair of dorky glasses and some bad make-up. No, Sam-soon is not a beauty, but she is that perfect example of "what's beauty then, And why do men idolise it? Is it a vessel containing nothing, Or a fire burning brightly in that vessel?"
- Hyun Bin , so young and cute and full of angst. Plus he is an excellent actor and after watching him in his second (after "The Snow Queen") drama, I hope he has a good future. He really can act, and given a chance to develop can do some serious things.
- This dramas has a nice pace and not one scene seems to drag.
- And it has the best kissing scene EVER!! May be it is a tie-up with the scenes in "A love to kill" and "Goong", but it is definitely the number one:
( There is everything in this kiss: (episode 6) )
PS: I wish someone told me long ago how good "Sam Soon" is. :D But seriously,
scottislass and
miss_dian,
vierran45, I am full of glee about this drama. :D THANK YOU!!

"Remote"
And I am even happier because I finished waching fabulous Japanese drama "Remote".
Synopsis : Young female police officer Ayaki Kurumi is assigned as an assistant to Himuro Kosaburo, reclusive and tortured genius-of-police-work.
EEEEEEE! So so good. If you like "Kurosagi" this is the one for you. Marvellous amount of UST. I liked the ending in "Remote" much better then the one in "Kurosagi" and also "Remote" had some really clever crime stories.
( Head-Hugging, This is so my thing. Picspam of AWESOME scene in episode 9 )
