Friday pictures and a poll: Formula 1 Jenson Button

Be he this year's winner or not, I have been an big fan of Jenson Button . He is everything I like about Formula one: Scruffy good looking, British and underdog.

But so far it is really hard to believe that he can actually win the world title , even though he is safely ahead and there are only 2 races left.

Jenson has best chances for sure. But I'd love Rubens to become a champ...just because he's a veteran and this is his last chance to get the crown.

YAY! Buttons won the world title - I am so so happy. I think he deserved it and with the surname like that and being named after a car - he had to have some luck somewhere.

А вот мне в воскресенье не повезло - мой любимый гонщик улетел в стену на первом же круге, да ещё потом наматерился на штраф в 10 тыс. долларов. :):) Хорошо хоть не поранился.

Yeah. :) Also Jarno's a very nice, friendly, close-to-earth person who has his own views and principles. I did interviews with him many times in the past and he made a very good impression on me

I have never seen a picture of this fellow before, but since he is squinting in your very first picture and his face is turned down a little away from the camera, my first thought was, '...Jamie?!?' Something about their somewhat similar noses.

If the BBC were to make a movie about him, I would watch it...!

Oh, I agree - he definitely has something that reminds me of Jamie, in looks and in charcater. Nobody knew who Button was at the beginning of this year and now he is the world champ (HE WON THE TITLE!)
