I'd recommend not even starting MG2. It's just not good. I'll probably finish it one day to be complete in my HYD watching experience, but I think it'll bother me the whole time.
I have instances like that, but I don't consider them dropped for good, just pushed aside in favor of better shows... Like Koizora, which became WAY too ridiculous for my taste.
