I kind of liked Gil Dong and Yi Nok together, I could never forgive him for what he did to her (make her believe he is dead and not have any regrets about it whatsoever) and I shipped Yi Nok and the Emo Prince (forgot his name) and it was really painful.
You absolutely listed all my thoughts about Hong Gil Dong. Plus I hated the nickname "stupid girl" and I also thought that it was a very poor scriptwriting to have such huge misdirection - the drama started happily at first and Emo Prince started as a good guy and even shielded Hong Gil Dong from an arrow but he ended as a terrible person and everyone ended dead. I don't really like bad endings and it was definitely not a drama that promised a bad ending from the very beginning. :P
I also love Jun Pyo to bits even though he is a confused jerk. Lee Min Ho's charm and acting skills are beyond amazing and if anything I would watch the show solely for his sake (although I do enjoy some other aspects of the drama). It's not going to be my favorite kdrama, but it's highly entertaining and I'm still liking it.
Again - I absolutely agree. Seeing that BoF is so popular and that the cast is so young I anticipate MANY MANY good dramas with Lee Min Hoo.
