Korean "Boys over Flowers". And "Mei-chan no Shitsuji"

I am staying away from the spoilers for the episodes 9 and 10 of "Boys over Flowers" (I know the main direction from previous versions) because I promised my daughter yesterday to watch them together when subtitles are out. Parental love is the strongest thing in the world.

Also - I am hugely obsessed with Mei-chan no Shitsuji (Mei-chan's butler). Why no-one is watching this??? It has a spunky spectacles-wearing girl with a dedicated super-butler caring for all her needs?????????????

She is 9 now, she has been asking to watch things with me for a while and have been creeping her way into some "sfare" anime (like Bleach). Asian dramas are usually "safer" than Western shows so I decided to try her on "Hanadan". She seems to love it. Her reading is good, so she doesn't seem to have problems with subs.

That's so awesome. I know adults who refuse to watch foreign movies because they don't want to deal with subtitles. (Although one guy just has a really difficult time reading and another is dyslexic so it requires far too much effort.)

I know some people that have problems too. In Russia, they usually dub foreighn films/dramas onto Russian, but I prefer subtitles myself, I like to hear the actual actor's voices. :D
