my biggest problem with it, I think, is that I grew up in the American South and I appreciate Southern Gothic when it done by people who actually know a thing or two about the region. True Blood just doesn't feel right. and I can't abide the accents, they are pretty atrocious. so yeah, it is definitely not for me!;)
My thanks again - I was wondering how good the accents are (for some reason they also didn't sound quite right to me, may because I kept remembering "No country for old men" and the accent seemed to be different there). However, Eric's accent will be good as he is supposed to be a Viking, so I am safe. :D
