Frankly, I don't know what to expect for Anders; RDM loves to shake up out expectations, i.e. most people (including me) didn't expected the Pegasus to live past Resurrection ship and it did! Anders has the word "DOOMED" written with red marker on his forehead... but maybe he isn't doomed after all. I don't know, I guess we'll have to wait util season three to know!!
Hee! They can always make him a Cylon, which will be better in a way because then Starbuck won’t have to be feeling guilty for his death. Starbuck is pre-destined to have a Cylon baby **shrugs**
You are not the only one who thinks Anders looks a bit like Lee!! I have a couple of friends who think the same!
O, I am so glad that “it is not just me”. You see, what I think is : Why Starbuck fell in love (assuming she IS in love and not just making herself to be in love because she is guilty) with someone who resembles her best friend? Does she herself realize that Anders looks like Lee ?(because it must have not been coincidence on Ron Moore’s part to bring in the actor who looks like Jamie). And when Anders will see Lee , will he think :” hang on, I think this guy looks a little like me. And anyway, I am very much looking forward to see some Lee/Anders interaction
love the scene where they are hanging out together... and the follow-up always leaves me with contradictory feelings. On the one hand I'm all OMG.PILOTS.ARE.HOT but on the other hand, reality check, that scene is heartbreaking and bitter... Lee is so hurt and she is so broken and selfish in that particular moment... Luckily we got them making amends (sorta) by the end of Captain's Hand, that hug!! The "are we okay!!*dies*
You know, I loved, loved THAT scene, the impression on Lee’s face when he realizes WHAT Kara means (so well presented on your icons) is just priceless – “I can’t believe this is happening” ;). And I liked how it all was played out, that Lee was caring and loving and that he himself was not just “for a quick frak”. I loved, loved that he realized that something is going wrong with Kara and didn’t “proceed” ;).. I guess I love angst and heartbreak ;)
I hope the finale delivers! I've spoiled myself rotten and the story looks interesting but the direction RDM and the writers are taking seems a bit risky. Luckily when it comes to TV I'm a real optimist and positivista so I hope it would be great!
