+Happy birthday

soniag!!!! I wish you happy and successful writing and many great things!!!!!!

+ Weekend goes very fast. We took Sasha and her friends to the birthday treat of "Ice Age 2" on Saturday. It was lovely, especially opossums and team spirit and all wonderful Disney things.

+ On accumulated birthday money Sasha got very pink shoes which she wanted to wear even to sleep

+ VM - Veronica/Logan and Logan himself - O MY POOR HEART!! I didn't even like him at first! But he has that intensity which is so attractive in men and he is loyal and (don't laugh) - he has something in his movements which is very very irresistible and he has that look of the hurt little boy sometimes.. And Veronica/Logan in the last episodes of the season one have a sense of alchemical belonging to each other for me. All the rest of the VM is very interesting too.

+ First episode of the season 2 left me bewildered. The explanation of why Veronica left Logan was a little strange for me. Because he is enjoying his bad fortunes????? This explanation is itself a little unexplainable for me. It could have been better if they shown us the evidence of it and didn't give everything scrambled up in one episode - V. leaving Logan , V getting together with Duncan. As it was, it left me scratching my head a little - Did they just want to get V. and Duncan together and dropped Veronica/Logan??

But episode 2.01 broke my herat because of the different reason - it does seem that Veronica loved Duncan all along and just was feeling sorry for Logan?? How very upsetting.. :(

+ Bad news on VM front are that the DVD of the season 1 I was cherishing in mind to order are of the region 1 only. Very, very wrong..

it has been a while since I saw Normal is the Watchword but I thought Veronica broke up with Logan because he was getting kind out of control i.e. burning down the community pool etc. (of course its been a while since I saw it, did Logan and the Casablancas boys do that after they broke up?)

Aha! That makes sense. I think the burning of the pool was before the break-up, but strangely it wasn't what Veronica said to Logan - "We are breaking up because you are a jerk who burns community pools", she said that he seems to be enjoying his misfortunes and that she was trying to be with Logan because she thought that that can help but that doesn't seem to and so on ... I could be wrong, I need to find a script for this episode. I think that 2.01 was just a little scrambled for me. It could be made into 3 episodes or so with community pool as the separate episode and the new beginning with Duncan could be done separately too..

a lot of season two is jumbled. don't get me wrong I adore this show and had some favorite eps this season(my favorites for future reference were Rat Saw God,Nobody Puts a Baby in a Corner, Plan B and I am God)but I am really looking forward to season three and the writing structure.

The last conversation between Veronica and Logan still is a little strange for me, but it seems to be clear now that V. was saying that she doesn't want to be with Logan until he his with his "friends". And it also seems to be clear that the conversation took place AFTER Logan put his eye on the curvy Mrs. Casablancas.

I am a "spoilery" person and already have watched 3 last episodes in the season 2, but the fact that Veronica appears to love Duncan first.. :(

I love this show so much too. I was very unsure to start watching it - I am old enough to be a mother for any of them.. :) But once I have started , I can't stop now, it is really good.

really? I am such a spoilerphobe and obssessive about watching things in order. but then again I always get to see the show first-run in the US. do they broadcast it in the UK? or are you seeing through torrents?

I had a lot of issues with the finale, I did like it overall and wrote the things I liked about it my LJ but there was quite a bit that bugged me.

I love this show so much too. I was very unsure to start watching it - I am old enough to be a mother for any of them.. :) But once I have started , I can't stop now, it is really good.

I was huge Buffy/Angel fan so I didn't have the resistance to watching a show that prominently features high schoolers. actually, my Buffy/Angel love is sort of how I started watching it because the ads in season one reminded me a bit of those shows. I watched season one on UPN's repeat broadcast last summer and became completely hooked. I'm 30 so I am not quite old enough to be their mother(well maybe I could be Butters' mother but I digress yet again)but it does disturb me a little that I crush on Logan. at least Jason Dohring is actually 24, but that's still strange for me because I used to always crush on (sometimes much) older men. of course I also crush on Lamb and Keith so I guess I'm not completely a dirty old woman;)

I think season 2 starts on Living TV in June (Yay! Living TV has Teleport) , but DVD release of season 1 is US-only. I am watching from torrents now but will probably DVD season 2 because the quality of the screencaps will be so much better for the icons. (Hee - It is a sign that I am truly obsessed with the show - I want to make ICONS)

Hee! I am in my late thirties and the fact that I also seem to be developing crash on Logan also is a little disturbing for me. The fact that the actor is 24 makes it a little better (thank you for this info!) but mainly I always think that if I immerse in the show I watch, then it is not me, but a my inner teen (as

soniag said) who is totally smitten by Logan. In RL I fall totally for different types of guys then in fiction - I love "bad boys" in fiction but in RL I find them annoying.. :)

But now when I think about it , it is probably the fact that Jason Dohring is actually 24 and not 18 what makes Logan's character so interesting for me, he acts not like a boy, but like a man.. Can you tell I like him ???

I like Keith A LOT , he is the type of guy I usually find attractive in RL - clever, funny , warm..

And yay for Veronica and Logan picspam! This was such a great scene. Like you, I am sad about the turn of events in Season 2, and yet I realize that Veronica has a few lingering issues to work through regarding Duncan. The breakup with Logan seemed rather rushed, but I'm hoping to see more angst from him as the episodes continue.

I loved the scene is the episode 3? 4? when Veronica and Logan have a heated conversation in his bedroom and he is dressed in a towel ( a big towel :).. I thought - OK!!! Just for this steaming scene I can accept their break-up .. I like Veronica and Duncan together - they seem to have more of the normal "teen" relationship, but with Logan it is just so much more..

I remember your post about Logan and Kendall Casablancas - O I agree whole heartily!! He seems to be exceptionally good kisser!!

I hope you are correct - he went after the Kendall after the split-up with Veronica, until that it was just passing attraction. It is just so much going on in the episode 1 concerning their complicated relationship that I need to re-watch to get my head round it. I am going to do it today!! YAY!

I think all Logan/Veronica people adore that scene in episode 18. It was just so unexpected. If you had told me at the start of season 1 that these two would be together, I would have died of shock.
