I could not access LJ at all for several days - another DDoS attack? Just managed to do so by using an old version of IE I have for testing, still can't access it through Firefox or Chrome.

Does this mean the final death? It has been more than three days!

Just wanted to say good bye as I am going to Prague for holidays with the family. My love to you all!!!!!! Happy birthdays to everyone having birthdays soon and all good things to everyone!!

** big hugs **

I will be back around 8-9th of August!!!

PS: If you know any news about the LJ issues , please let me know!!!

PS 2: Does anyone know if Dreamwidth cross-posting to LJ feature is working?

comments

GoT icons

It seems there is not too many icon and other communities on Dreamwidth, and although I don't post here usually, I decided to cross-post my icon posts from now on.

I have gone completely overboard with GoT icons, making over 90 icons. Because "Game of Thrones" has so many amazing characters (I had to include them all, especially The Direwolves) and so many gorgeous scenes (I had to include them too). They are free to take and use anywhere you want.

Preview:

........

( The rest of the icons )

Spoilers: The icons are from the episodes 1-7. NO SPOILERS for episodes after 6 (no spoilers for the episode 7).

comments

Testing

I have got an account on Dreamwidth, with the same name, alexandral. I'll try to cross-post for a while, like I did with the great journal. This thing will either die or live - we shall see.

RL is busy. The work is mad - I seem to be doing at least 10 projects at once. One of the big ones is in the "though the fig tree does not blossom" stage, and I can't get hold of the Torex Technical Support people who are actually responsible for the software that is failing all over the place. Please wish it the best : Good Option a) I go to work tomorrow and find the whole Uni has burned down. Good Option b) the sowftware in question behaves itself.

We have booked this years birthday party for Sasha, TOBOGANNING in SNO!zone of Xscape leasure centre. This is apparently a REAL SNOW SLOPE. I have been tempted to try this slope for a couple of years and finally excuse in a form of my daughter's party arrived. I am going to check how real it is. :D

The picture below is from the Sno!zone website. The snow looks real, I must say! I need to find out what the process is - do they export it from Himalayas?

comments
