Rome, Testudo et Lepus, and icons .

I liked it very much!! "Rome" is my favourite à la Dumas story of two ancient Roman musketeers. Whatever is happening in Rome, Pullo and Vorenus are sure to be involved!!!! My head is hurting from triple-day over iconing, but I don't really care. :D

+ I like Simon Woods as the new Octavian, he seems to be so ENERGETIC, but I have to watch a little more of him to complete my mind.

+ But I think my loyalties to Pullo and Vorenus are seriously shaken because I do, do love Agrippa so!!! he is so straightforward and good and honest inside and is not so good with words ,especially where women are concerned, and this is one of the things I just adore in men (RL or fictional). And Octavia does seem to be rejecting him flat so this is going to be one-sided doomed love of which I am also a huge fan of.

Agrippa screencap of the day

Oh, boy!!! You better quit right now!!!!

I liked his squabbling with Maecenas (who is also lovely in a bohemian sort of way) :

+ And as to the rest , you know what is the best thing on earth? Pullo and Vorenus, of course! That after a short word exchange involving "I only said so because I wanted to make you angry" from Pullo (oh, Pullo, I love you for the way you said it was so gentle!!!) and reserved "I know" from Vorenus they quickly fell back into their normal, absolutely comfortable way with each other. And they were camping near the fire and Pullo was making hints about the slave camp and really he was saying that HE was in a slave camp once. And Vorenus was not asking a word, but just listening. ** sigh ** As long as these two are together I will watch Rome and watch more of it!!

+ But wasn't that keen on Servillia's storyline, it just seemed to be unnecessary somehow. They could have shown us more of Pullo and Vorenus, or Agrippa, Octavian and Maecenas.

Pullo and Vorenus shot of the day: Camping again!!

And EEEE! Icons!!! (I am so sorry, I can't stop just yet). Icons are free to share ,if you like I will make customizations, like text and etc., for you.
Spoilers, big spoilers.

EEEEEEEE! I am so glad you are BACK!!!! And I would have done the same (as regarding to watching "Rome" and not doing unpacking. Unpacking - so very boring!!!)

I also liked the friendship between Agrippa and Octavian.

I liked the trio of friends!!! They seem to form such a splendid group, Octavian seems to be so good at choosing people!!! (And of course I mean his warm feeling for Pullo too :D)

And when Vorenus hugged little Lucius? *sob!*

Sob too!!! It was the first time that I noticed how much little Lucius looks like Niobe. Vorenus wanted to hate him, but the boy was looking into his eyes with such a hope that he ended up loving him instead... ** sniff **

Yay for being back! I've missed you and LJ. Sadly I was insanely busy yesterday and didn't get to post anything about what I wanted - IOW Rome. ;D But hopefully that will be remedied today.

Then back to Agrippa. hee. I adored him and his crush on Octavia. I love how he went for confident general to bumbling fool just by the mention of her name. *g*

As for her putting him down. Well, he did come on a bit strong - but she did say that "any friend of my brother is my brother also" and she does love her brother (perhaps a little too much...), so maybe there is hope.

I know! And when they left the slave camp and the title music started to play, and Pullo lifted the little Vorena up with one hand I actually cheered. Such a good episode. Even if the Servillia and Atia stuff was a little dull.

And then back to being totally serious and even quite commanding with Cicero.

As for her putting him down. Well, he did come on a bit strong - but she did say that "any friend of my brother is my brother also" and she does love her brother (perhaps a little too much...), so maybe there is hope.

Yes!! Upon a second watch, she did become very pink at one moment. :D But I can go for him having unrequited feelings too. And YAY! They are going to Rome soon, we are going to see more of them!

Even if the Servillia and Atia stuff was a little dull.

Even worse for me, it was dull qand disgusting.

Hee. I forgot - I'm taking a few icons. One of Pullo with the horse, and one of Agrippa and Octavia. (I think I'm becoming very shippy with those two.)

So am I!!! This icon says something along the lines "My heart has burnt" (I am concerned if that was what Agrippa said, I am not sure)

Hee. This is another reason why I love him. He doesn't just confess his love - but he does so with big words and quite a lot of passion! I just adore the dynamics of the character - to go from confident general, to stuttering semi-poet is simply wonderful. Hee! I hope we see more of this the next episode.

I think his loyalty for Octavian is very strong too. This is what i am loving here - it is Pullo and Vorenus again ( slightly different, but still!!)
