I absolutely rec "Joint Security Area", it is not a "loud" film, but very thought-provoking one. (And it doesn't hurt that Lee Byung Hun does such a good job :D)

And thank you for the Bittersweet Life rec - I feel I am bound to like it, if even for the wrong reasons. :D
