Tomorrow our in-laws are coming for lunch. I better put my "good cook" cap on. They are lovely people and always so nice to us. We went to their house last week and had some marvellous time full of my father-in-law funny stories and mother-in-laws cakes. They are great company.

Thank you very much!!! I think this actor (Hyun Bin) is really quite good. I hope he will go onto some serious things in the future, he definitely can act and make you understand the meaning of the scene with the looks only.

which is rare so much of the time. and must be very hard to do...to let go of the 'self' and inhabit another character so fully. although i'm guessing there's always a layer of self in the midst of the other.

I really admire the actors who can "change". The best examples for me would be Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Christian Bale. They seem to be able to do everything, so many different roles that I can't even see that layer of self. I wonder how they do it.
