Mixed day of football and LJ musings
** Weeps **
I am deadly upset about England's loss and I can't even say much about it so upset I am.
One thing is good , for sure - during my time as England's team fan I got to understand for the first time how difficult it is for someone to be on the "unpopular" end of interests in LJ land and this is a good lesson for me!!!
But EEEEEEE!! - In one thing my dearest was precise in his predictions and France won Brazil which was a total surprise for me. I have started as a fan of Brazilian team, but Zinedine Zidane is ALWAYS one my favourites and this is his last tournament and I am so happy that this seems to be his last battle and it is somehow so much how I love it - "swan song" and all these kinds of things. Plus Henry scored and I always loved him as Arsenal's captain.
PS: It is amazing how comforting purring little cat can be, even when your team lost at football :)
