I am particular surprised because this particular BBC version of Sherlock is probably the one that implies that Holmes and Watson "are gay for each other" more than any other version , more than Guy Ritchie's version for sure. Guy Ritchie's Holmes and Sherlock are a classical example of "bromance" IMHO where BBC's Sherlock? So "gay for" Watson. Hahahaha! I am a "girl of certain age"!
