I loved the Tywin scene. (and the morbid symbolism in having him skin a deer/stag. Hee) I also adored the conversation he had with Jaime, and his whole mocking demeanor in "Go ahead, say something clever!"
Ahhh, Tywin - bullying your kids is never a good solution to anything.

For the first time I also really liked Sansa. I've been sort of apprehensive about her, but I think the scene between her and the Septa and then her and Joffrey were really good. Poor Sansa. It's so hard to watch, knowing what is to come.

On the whole I agree that these episodes were really good, and they've seem to have the pacing and editing better under control than in the first few episodes.

This show definitely has a thing about whores and brothels.

Groan. Oh yes. I could have done without the sex scene and Baelish talking. Less is more HBO!
(btw. My money is on the whore Ros as replacing Shae in the narrative. They've built up her character for a reason.)
