Life is Beautiful : more pretty than I can cope with

Gay Romance in a Korean drama? Done in a beautiful heart-breaking way? As in - two gorgeous guys in a screen frame at the same time, just so that your heart feels like breaking? There is honestly so many interesting insights into family life in all it's possible aspects in "Life is beautiful" , but I am sort of blinded by all the pretty:

Their storyline is exactly as you said! It's touching, heartfelt and done in a sensitive way. More importantly? It's believable and realistic. I can totally buy it, their feelings and reasons for their actions and most of all, I can totally see happening what's gonna happen to both of their families. Which is why I'm so fond of this storyline. I really think it's groundbreaking for Korean mainstream tv.

And yes, they're so pretty. Whenever they're on screen, I awww, sigh and think, "oh so cute!" *draws hearts around KS and TS*

PS: I'll snag a few screencaps. Thank you!
PPS: this guy uploaded the shippy bits. It's an useful link when you want to get a quick fix of The Cute without having to ff through millions of eps. But hey, many scenes related to their storyline are missings. Just an FYI.

OMG! Aren't those two just ever so cute?!

LiB is on The List already. Got convinced by [livejournal.com profile] blueocean80, she's been pimping it for a while now. :) Just not sure when I'll have time for it. Prolly when I go on another marathony binge, ha.

They are too adorable! If this storyline was the whole show I would definitely watch LiB.

To follow up on your recommendation request, the currently airing jdrama Atami no Sousakan is wonderful so far! It stars Joe Odagiri and the director/writer is the same one who wrote Adrift in Tokyo so you know the drama is in good hands.

------------------------
Plot from daddicts: Three years ago in Minami-Atami, Japan, a school bus carries four female high school students to an entrance ceremony. The bus driver named Ayumu Hirasaka (Masato Hagiwara) suddenly stops the bus when he spots an old man collapsed on the road. The bus driver gets out to check on the man leaving the four high school students on the bus. Suddenly, the bus starts to go down a slope, even though the bus driver enabled the emergency brakes. The bus driver chases after the falling bus, but it disappears into the woods.

As soon as the case is reported to the police station, Osamu Sizu (Yutaka Matsushige) leaves for the accident scene. When he arrives he spots the bus driver running in the woods. No clues are to be found.

Three days later, late at night, Mai Shinnome is found unconscious at a downtown bus stop. She is sent to the hospital, still unconscious, and the other three girls are still missing.

Three years later, Mai Shinnome finnaly comes to consciousness. National investigators Kenzo Hoshizaki (Joe Odagiri) & Sae Kitajima (Chiaki Kuriyama) are sent out to Minami-Atami to interview her and uncover the truth of their disappearance.

Mix in a cast of wonderfully eccentric characters, a dash of Americana, and a bit of noir and you get Atami no Sousakan. Some people have described it as a cross between The X Files and Twin Peaks. Although I've never seen either of the shows, this drama doesn't feel like a jdrama at all. I think it's closer to an American show or something different all together. It's not just a "whodunit" story but a drama that tries to piece together the island's mysterious inhabitants and their connections with each other. It's also worth mentioning that the soundtrack has some great jazz and piano pieces.

Just a quick question. Are you able to watch anything on dramafever using Hotspot shield? I tried, because they have Kim Soo Ro with subs, but it didn't workd (version 1.46 or 1.46, I think it's the latest).
