BSG finale

I have to make this short because of the Project of Doom thing:

1. I have watched BSG finale this morning and I had to get up an hour earlier for this because of above mentioned POD. And of course now if wish I never did because I have been VERY-VERY upset the whole day and unnecessary forceful at the meetings. Because what can the girl do when :

2. Lee’s arms, deltoids, triceps, EVERYTHING IS GONE.

3. Kara doesn’t love him anymore

4. Kara says things like “this is MY own man “ (the man I OWN)

5. EVERYBODY IS HAVING A TERRIBLE HAIRCUT DAY

6. LEE WANTS TO LEAVE all the civilians behind. MY LEE!!!

The only GOOD thing is that [livejournal.com profile] queenofthorns has written this amazing fiction and now I can laugh about it and not involve my soul so much with Lee, Kara, Kara/Lee.

I SAY BIGGEST EVER THANK YOU to [livejournal.com profile] queenofthorns because, I guess, BSG for about a year was a part of me and I felt really really sad that this part of me was spoiled ( and before this moment I didn’t even realise what a big part it was and how silly it is to get attached to something fictional and even probably not everything is spoiled and I am over-dramatising everything). But now I can laugh about it all..

Laugh, if you are wise

Yes, i think i just was all "Lee is a CHANGED man!! PANICK!!!

You know, the thing i really liked was a conversation about elections tampering between Roslin and Adama. Wow! These two love each other!!

And of course, Baltar is totally awesome through the whole episode..

I must , must get back to your post and read it now!!

Oh yeah, Baltar was awesome. And so were Adama and Roslin. Those are some of my favorite characters because I think they are acted so well and they are fascinating. I like Six as well. But I really don't have a big investment in what happens to any of the characters or where they go in the show. I just really like BSG. I think it's one of the best shows on TV.

Pssss...I don't think Lee will be chubby for long. They've had to jump away from the planet so their food supply will severely twindle before they can get back. :)

I just can't wait to see how they are going to get out of this situation. *Glee*

i wish i was like that! You are very, very wise. I do tend to get invested in books and shows.. Not all of them , but some. This is why i prefer to read/see a book/movie after it is finished. Of course characters belong to authors, but i get upset sometimes if things go "the wrong way" ;)

You're not the only one. A lot of peole feel that way. :)

I'm not sure why I don't. I guess I just like to see where the writers are going to go with the characters.

Funny thing is I do get annoyed when books don't go the way I think they should. Maybe that's why I don't read a lot of fanfic. I'm just like.....That character would never do that...when I read some of it. :)

I used to read quite a lot of fanfiction at one time, but i got used to it and got used to discern "good from bad" - and there is more of bad fanfiction then of good .. ;(

So true. I've gotten to the point where I won't even try reading a story unless I know the writer is a good one. Most of the writers I really like are on my flist. :)
