YAY! There seem to be more fans liking the Korean version than I initially thought.
I should be rooting for Jan Di and Jun Pyo but I find myself doing the opposite probably there is some sort of reason to all of this. It’s pretty exasperating when you know whats supposed to happen but I will stick with it because although it is annoying I also interested to find out how they will twist things back on track.
You see, this is what I don't understand - I was rooting for Rui/Makino terribly in Japanese version and I was rooting for Lei/Shancai at some point too. I mean, Rui is just perfect and such a good guy and such a good friend, much better for any girl than childish Domyoji. I used to think that this was a part of canon , that Rui is so awesome and that a big percent of fans ship him with Makino and that Makino/Domyoji is just an example of these "fated" couples who don't really suit each other. I don't understand the posts I see everywhere: "Oh, this drama makes me ship Rui/Makino (Jandi/JiHoo), there must be something wrong with it". Yes, Kdrama has many extra scenes with Jandi/Ji Hoo but Rui/Makino was always a part of canon IMHO.
But this is just me, may be I don't understand something, I need to read the manga to understand the shipping arrangements in the original.
