And no, I didn't get to the middle, so I have no clue who Eric is. I barely got up to a fifth of the book.
They have some kind of Vampire government thing going and Eric is the area leader (or Sheriff).
But I have seen the True Blood pilot and think the series will be smutty fun. I am very happy about that.
Oh, yes! And I still hope it will last long enough to get to the parts where Eric becomes one of the main characters.
