Moonlight: Human Touch

The episode 1.11 "Sleeping Beauty" made my shippy and otherwise heart bounce with joy (and many times!). But I am slightly concerned with Mick's fast changes of heart, though. Yesterday Coraline, today Beth. I am a Mick/Beth shipper but may be I am contrary? Because the fact that Mick was not really that much worried about Coraline laying on her death bed and tried his best to elicit the information he wanted notwithstanding her quite poorly state made me rather sad. :P

But of course the episode was all about Josef and Jason Dohring was absolutely wonderful when in love. I am quite positive that if the show lasts Sarah will awake. And may be she and Beth will become friends and Beth will help Sarah to adjust in the new world? And they all can have a two-pairs' friendship?

My admiration of Beth is growing with each episode. She really wanted to stay with Mick in NYC, didn't she? And most likely this would have led to something quite serious between them. But because she didn't want to start it with Mick without finishing it properly with Josh she declined Mick's very persuasive invitations. I think this is great, even through we were deprived of "Mick and Beth in NYC" scene. :D

Isn't this a season of good will and peace? I am feeling very festive, cheery and mellow and not snarky at all. So let's talk about things of love and beauty!!!!! Let's share the "Moonlight" love and be as cheesy as we can!!!!!!! I wish you all very happy holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all need to be touched

"Yes, I do touch. I believe everyone needs that" Diana Princess of Wales
" At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet" Plato

We, humans, need each other. We can't exist on our own. Often we hate and envy and don't care but the biggest fear of our lives is to be lonely. We need this – a smile of a stranger, a friendly word, a touch. We can say so much by just one touch..

We can express our concern and care with a touch of our hand: "Hey, how are you?"

And we can take a great comfort from a friend's hug, even when our life is shattered to pieces.

We can hold each other as if nothing else matters, just the two of us. The Earth is spinning but for us it stopped.

Sometimes "I am sorry" and "thank you" are better said without words

And sometimes "I love you" is just a friend's joking punch.

We risk our life for each other because what is our life without his or her touch?

But also we kill, and murder, and hurt others. With our hands

And with the same hands we heal and help.

Because if all the Universe is against us, at least we can be there for each other.

And if we lose at least we can give.

And sometimes we touch each other without any reason, just because we feel a need to do so.

Because there is a connection between us, invisible to others but for us so real that nothing else is more real. Our love, our happiness, our trust.

It keeps us glued together as Siamese twins.

Because we belong to each other: our hands, our glances, our beings.

We wish this moment could last forever.

You and me, twin destinies.

The Sun and Moon, the beginning and the end.

He is mine and I am his.

OMG! You made me cry. lol. That was beautiful. I love the Sun and the Moon part because I always think of Beth as the Sun and Mick as the Moon.

Wasn't that last scene with Mick asking Beth to go do something in New York with him just wonderful? I just thought he was so much like the 1940's 50's guy the way he asked her...and a steak for the lady. So cute. The way they look at each other takes my breath away. *sigh*

This show is killing me, but in a good way. ;)

Oh and Eeeeeeee! you rock! Thanks so much for doing this. :)

I cried at least three times during this episode. Oh, "Moonlight! What are you doing to me!

It seems that for Mick all the obstacles between him and Beth are gone. If JOSEF could do it, why not him? Oh, poor Mick, why are you torturing yourself so much!

I also thought that when Mick invited Beth to go to a jazz club he may be meant he'll sing for her?? Oh, what a miss! But I was rather proud with Beth that she felt she has to finish properly with Josh before starting it with Mick..

Oh man, me too. when Mick started crying in the hallway I was so surprised I sat there with my mouth hanging open for a second and then hiccup...*sniff*. When Beth gave Josef the diary I got really choked up a teary. And at the end I had tears rolling down my face. This show is killing me. I keep saying that, but it is. LOL.

Yes! And no voiceover, so again we don't know what he is thinking. I wonder if they have stopped the voiceovers all together for now.

OMG! that seriously needs to happen at some point. Can Alex sing? Well I guess he can, he sang in August Rush a little.

But I was rather proud with Beth that she felt she has to finish properly with Josh before starting it with Mick..

I agree. She did the right and mature thing. They do that alot in this show. Definitely an adult show. :)

May be they are trying to show that Mick is confused and doesn't even understand his own feelings..
